Barn Swallow Pad

A touch-first synth built from the earlier swallow readout: short clustered chirps, chattery bursts, and dominant energy in the rough 2 to 6 kHz band. These pads are for plausible mimicry experiments, not claims of literal translation.

Preset Notes

Communication is speculative
Why these shapes

The earlier clip suggested brief broadband chirps and chatter bursts instead of long tonal whistles. This synth keeps chirps short, bright, and irregular for that reason.

What “translation” means here

These labels are human convenience handles for timing, energy, and clustering. They are not a claim that Barn Swallows map cleanly onto literal English phrases.

Use in the field

Keep playback brief, low volume, and infrequent. Repeated alarm-like output can stress birds or distort their normal behavior around nests.
